Dear Friends,

Welcome to the new Tea & Tattered Pages website. Thank you for joining me!

This has been a long time in the making. It began way back in 2005. My friend Kim and I rented a third-floor walk up in the 7th Arrondissement in Paris, not realizing that though beautiful, it was an expensive neighborhood well beyond our financial capabilities.

Aching for a book written in English (since our French was terrible), we stumbled upon a secondhand English bookstore near the Luxembourg Gardens. Dusty, water-damaged books lined the walls, prices were subject to change, and in the back was a tea room, which held a James Joyce book club every Wednesday night.

In love with its quaint atmosphere and reminiscent of my time living with my Aunty and Uncle in England (where my favorite time of day was Afternoon Tea), we started a blog where we reviewed books, paired them with different teas, and conversed about everything from the nature of Spirit to the shape of things.

Now, over a decade later, the project has blossomed into a chapbook series and small press. Here I hope to create a space for conversations among poets, artists, and scientists on the nature of being. As a publisher, I'm interested in delicate, yet strong creations that evoke wonder, curiosity and engagement with the phenomenal world...  in media res.

Let's create beautiful things!
